June Asian Blogger 8 - Kelly Chin

I’m complicated, or so I think. I grew up in a relatively strict family and somewhat protected environment, in a small town where everyone knows everyone (Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia, yes I know I come from some ulu place hehe), where spreading rumours is the favourite past-time of the townfolks, where i don’t have freedom to do anything at all… (u know, conservative and me don�t really get along that well)

Now that I�m 22 going on 23, all grown up studying by myself in Melbourne not to mention free as a bird being out of home! But then I guess also with a degree of restriction being committed to a relationship (can�t be too wild right?). I couldn�t help but wonder, if my future consists of being a doctor (I�m graduating next year, what a scary thought!), still wanting to be a singer (it�s been my dreams for many years, I�m happy to share some of my recordings if u ask nicely), there is still a slight confusion, a feeling of helplessness in me. When will I be able to soar high? Will I ever going to follow my dreams?

Besides all these mambo jumbo, I�m the biggest foodie in the world! I love to eat and I love to cook, as u can probably see from my blog. And I�m most happy to share my recipes around. So don�t forget to check it out (my blog, that is)
