Dance Like No Body’s Watching

I really seek forgiveness for the lack of updates. I entered this competition knowing the requirements of having to blog at least two times a week, and previously it was no issue for me. I could blog almost everyday! Though the posts may have been short, they still meant and represented some aspect of my life.

But right now, with the impending DanceWorks competition a week away (read: 25th @ Marina Square), Ive been dancing so hard that I come back each night and stone in front of my computer as the printer prints my notes for the lecture the next day. And guess what, I didnt even attend my first lecture for today. Bah.

I woke up finding myself in a fetal position surrounded by fluffy pillows and a cosy comforter and with what else but an aching body. Ive been dancing everyday after school and I see the same people each time. Haha. We might as well live together in Dance University. That would be so much cooler.

Here’s the team.

So choreography is almost done and Im glad to say it’s almost taking shape! It had better be! Our costumes arent even done yet. BLAH.
If you’re interested in coming down to watch us slug it out with the other teams, dont worry, I assure you it’ll be all good clean fun, afterall it’s for DanceWorks - the Anti-Drug campaign, do drop by Marina Square on the 25th of Feb (it’s a Sat!) at around 1pm. The competition starts at about 1pm and lasts till 5pm. There will be 20 over teams competiting for just 3 spots. OMG. How tragic.

Be prepared for a pleathora of pictures from backstage though. There’s where all the REAL fun really happens. There’s nothing better Blast! people like doing other than dancing but TAKING PHOTOS!
Read Pappadum.

In the meantime, dance like nobody’s watching.
With much love,
dweam
