Can a Christian drink??

Oh my! Am I the first to start writing? That’s pretty stress. What should I write?? Ok, since CNY is just around the corner. Wana share about how I feel about CNY personally. Being a Christian for about 4 years and still counting, I make sure I’m a good testimony to other non believers everytime I meet them. I used to hate to go to my relatives house during CNY because they will gambled, drink and do all sorts of things that I feel is not acceptabe. I always put on a fake front and then later complaint to my parents about their behaviour. But yesterday, Pastor told us that we can still accept them for who they are. In fact, we should love people fervently. Accepting doesn’t mean approval. Why should we condemn them? Who are we to judge them?? Jesus ate with the tax collector, prostitue, sinners and etc… Who are we to act as BIG SHOT?? Some religious people love to be more holy than God. They got some close up by certain things and at times they leave their brain in the car when they goes to church. Somethings lie on the grey part, you gotta think for yourselve. Why did God gave you a brain for?? Some people came up with these weird rules…

*Listening to circular music is wrong, cause the songs are demonic.
*Ladies putting makeup is wrong because they wana seduce guys.
*Television sets are devil box.
*Ladies can’t wear jade because the devil lives in it.
*You cannot drive Alpha Romeo because there’s a snake for it’s design.

There are more but I can’t think of any at the moment. Here it’s the case of Immoral, Amoral and Moral.

It really depends on the background, culture and style that ones come from. To some of you,it maybe conservative, to others it may not. For example, people living in Asia tend to be more conservative. But if you were to go the pool, you will still see guys wearing skimpy trunks. haha~ But as for the Westerner, they maybe more liberal. BUT, they don’t wear trunks to the pool. You maybe thought as a GAY. Get what I mean?? So there is no right or wrong in how you should dress when you go for a swim. It’s time you use your brain to make decision. It’s not a case of who’s right or who’s wrong but who’s walking in faith or not. It’s doing unto the Lord. Le’s bring this issue closer. Many Christians had been debating whether a Christian should drink or not. For me, I thought it was very wrong to do so. But some churches uses pure wine during Holy Communion. Are they going to hell for doing that? In the bible, Jesus drank wine to symbolise the blood he shed for us. Is He contradicting the doctrine. Of course not. You can drink but not get drunk and starts to engage yourself into some ugly behaviour. But if you don’t sense peace in your heart, then don’t do it. Like what I say, it’s doing unto the Lord. For me, I stop drinking for like 4 years ever since I became a Christian. I heard the Lord telling me that I should stop going clubbing and drinking because I can’t control myself. Not that I will sleep with any guys when I get too carried away. Just that when I start drinking, I wouldn’t stop and I’ll get very drunk. God doesn’t want me to be like that and he wana protects me because i’m a lady. That is why I stay far away from it. These are the things that wasn’t told specifically in the bible and we got to discern it for yourselve. For those that the bible has stated clearly it’s wrong to do it, all the more we should stay clear. With this I close my entry with two photos of me and my darling.
