Monkey cracks me up. I was just talking about my outfit on Sat’s event. And he was asking me what a blouse it. O_o;;; And his idea of designing clothes is lingerie. =_=;;;;

and yeah, This is the outfit I wore. I made the blouse myself, it’s my first attempt at making a blouse for myself, I’m pretty pleased with the way it fits. =) I finally have a properly fitted blouse.

This look is called a Kodona, which resembles the look of a young Victorian boy. The gothic and lolita fashion is part of a subculture in Singapore. I’m not sure if anyone has actually noticed gothic lolitas on the streets. I guess I’ll talk abt them in another entry.

I’ve disappeared for awhile… But I’m really excited to present to you guys a change to the blog.

The past few days was torture. *plays sad violin music*

It’s like being under cold turkey treatment. My fingers are quivering as I type. Relishing the victory of being to update on my blog again. Yes~! I’ve survived~!! *insert final fantasy victory music*

To sum up my days:
-I steal glances at my black lcd screen hoping it’s all a bloody nightmare.
-I circle the room with nothing to do.
-I wonder who’s online most of the time.
-I wonder how many unread mails I have.
-I end up calling people late at night so that I am entertained.

I lost my music, my pictures, stuff I’ve been working on for ages, my emoticons.. every-single-bloody-thing.

Let’s talk about looks.

In this superficial world, we see perfect bodies with perfect faces all over the place. On billboards, on Television, on magazines…. we almost get haunted and brainwashed into thinking that this is the definition of beauty.

We get arguements and people campaigning for a more realisable form of beauty. For example, Dove’s Campaign for beauty
Flawed Skin, single eyelids, body fats. All these bothering probably a few million people everytime they look in the mirror.

Ironic isn’t it?

To post this up in a place where we’re contesting against each other to be an “asianhottestblogger”. I’ve joined a modelling competition before, reflecting on what happened back then, we were based solely on our physical appearance. No one gives shit about your personality. Sure, you can argue about the “X-factor” and to be honest, it really differentiates the pros from the amateurs.

My real name is Yun. I just graduated from an arts college majoring in Fashion Design.

My interest includes that of fashion, photography and modelling. I joined the Elite Model Look a few months ago. No I’m not proud of it but hey, I managed to get a Zouk card in the end. I’ve got a crappy point-and-shoot camera called the Sony DSC T-1 it looks pretty but does shit. I wanna get a pro-consumer when my wallet allows me to. Fashion…hmm… I love sewing, I guess it was an influence from my mum, who sews very well. I sew my own clothes occasionally cause I can’t seem to find any of them that fits the style I like. Oh yes, I love gothic&lolita fashion. I’m talking about the Gothic and Lolita fashion influence from Japan. Do a search on it so you learn more about it. Before you jump to any conclusion about goths being freaks leet me say that I’m just about as sane as the person you see on the streets, unless he’s steven lim.
