Not there to witness the event?

This year the ever so famous event was not telecasted due to low sponsorships.
It was instead held at Marriott Hotel in the ballroom. After a 5 hour long dinner that was touted to be more like a company DnD instead of a charity/pageant dinner, the winner was crowned.

IT’S OVER! *breathes a sigh of relief*
And I must say we did a fantastic job!

We pulled through the obstacles encountered during the practises and even some cock-ups on the day itself. OMG. Can you believe that we submitted the wrong version of the song early in the morning! WTH. When we did blocking and the wrong music came out towards the ending part, everyone in the team was STUNNED. BLAH.
Thank goodness Xiaoyuan had a more updated version of it in her CD player. Even so, that wasnt the finalised version. Never mind. We still managed to pull the item off.

It’s tomorrow! Or rather today! I have to report at 8 bloody am in the morning at Marina Square! OMG. I think I will fall asleep at the shopping mall.

It isnt the actual day and we’re already snapping pictures! Where’s my camera! I better get it charged for tomorrow.

We all need to remind ourselves of the positive points we have just to pick ourselves up when we fall.

OMG. So does that mean I have to keep reminding myself that IM CHIO AND HAWT on a daily basis?
And that everyone loves me?
(proven by the fact that kf just msn-ed me and said “but we love you” yay! see! *beams*)

Actually I already know that lah. I just need to plaster my room with posters of me to refresh my memory from time to time when Im on the verge of insanity.

Now, it’s time for me to remind YOU what Im capable of. Ha!

I really seek forgiveness for the lack of updates. I entered this competition knowing the requirements of having to blog at least two times a week, and previously it was no issue for me. I could blog almost everyday! Though the posts may have been short, they still meant and represented some aspect of my life.

But right now, with the impending DanceWorks competition a week away (read: 25th @ Marina Square), Ive been dancing so hard that I come back each night and stone in front of my computer as the printer prints my notes for the lecture the next day. And guess what, I didnt even attend my first lecture for today. Bah.

Ok, so Im stuck at home on Veeee day with no date. Like that’s a bad thing? Im a mugger! Not. Hahahaha.

I read one paragraph and decided to continue with my project for Valentine’s Day. And this is the final product.

Wahahahahaha! They’re gorgeous! *gushes* I feel like keeping them for myself. Hahaha. But I cant wait to see the look of glee on my friend’s face.

Plus, I made cheesecake! Ok, more specifically my mother and brother made it. I attempted it once and it turned out too sour because I didnt want to add condensed milk. After the first failed attempt and people’s lack of appreciation, I decided not to embark on a second attempt.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I was about to do a post on flowers and stuff. BUT, have decided against it. (I typed it halfway through and then clicked delete.) I dont want the girls with their killer high heels and huge bouquets of flowers to come running after me and throwing what nots at me. HEH.

Now now, before you start pointing fingers at me and accuse me of feeling sour just because I dont have a boyfriend at this point in time to shower me with flowers and all other Valentine’s Day peripherals, let me just say that I never insist or rather, have always strongly DISCOURAGED my boyfriends from getting flowers for me during this season. I’d rather he spend it on a nice dinner or make the effort to prepare one for me. Bleah. Not that anyone has ever done it for me before. (Anyone would like to volunteer this year? Teehee.)

Little things in life that make me happy:

* waking up to a phone call from someone you care about
* making a phone call to Mac delievery and ordering breakfast
* getting a good night’s sleep
* knowing your parents are worried about you overworking yourself

It’s the culmination of the small things in life that outweigh the once-in-a-while major events.

Let’s take Valentine’s Day for example, the guy may take all the time in the world to plan the most romantic date on Valentine’s Day itself. But everyone else is doing the same thing on that very day. There shouldnt be a reason given to you for you to celebrate your love. It’s the surprise of it not being any special day and you surprise her with a single stalk of flower or planning a date on any other day you guys will be meeting. It’s these little things that make an ordinary day even more memorable.

I have decided to choose this day to be the day that I make my first post.
WHY?
Well, because it’s the new year! HAHA! I thought that to start things off, it would be good for me to do an introductory post for you first time readers of my blog. And since the new year ushers in new things, it would be a totally new me and hence a totally new introduction! *beams*

Well, that isnt the only reason of course. Ive been busy with nothing but school and dance. Heh.

If you havent already guessed from my introductory profile posted earlier, my life mostly revolves around 2 things - sex and drugs. HAHAHAHA! RIGHT! As if.
More like, school and dance. Teehee.
